A Volunteer Training

Volunteers are an important part of the success of our program, and volunteers are always needed!

Whether it is helping with the horses, assisting in keeping our beautiful facilities safe and accommodating, or helping our organization run smoothly- more help is always appreciated! Please Contact Us about volunteering for any of the opportunities listed below. The minimum age for volunteers is fourteen years old.

Lesson Program

Volunteers assist by leading horses or walking beside riders (sidewalking) during classes. Lesson program volunteers should be willing to commit to coming the same day and time each week and are required to attend a general volunteer orientation and training session.

Volunteers help with general maintenance, repairs and improvements to the facilities.

Equine Learning Assistant

Assist staff in teaching unmounted horsemanship skills such as grooming and horse care. Additional training is provided.

Volunteers assist with maintenance of social media sites (Facebook, etc.) as well as helping with publicity, data entry and other office responsibilities.
